This page explains browser storage, optional analytics and the separate advertising privacy controls in Blynk-e mobile apps. Read it with our privacy policy.
1. Necessary storage
Cookies and local storage support authentication, security, language, appearance and consent choices. Blocking all storage can prevent sign-in or stop preferences from being remembered.
The blynke_locale cookie stores the selected language for up to one year. Authentication storage is managed by the session system and may be renewed. The blink_consent browser entry stores privacy choices and the policy version; account consent choices can also be synchronized after sign-in.
2. Optional web analytics
Google Analytics, PostHog and Sentry support usage measurement and error reporting when the analytics category is accepted. They can process pseudonymous identifiers, device or browser information and technical events. These records are not guaranteed to be anonymous.
You can accept or refuse optional categories in the consent banner and change them in Settings. Refusing optional analytics does not block core service features. Current web marketing controls are separate from native advertising consent.
3. Mobile advertising
Google AdMob advertising uses mobile SDKs and device storage rather than relying only on browser cookies. UMP presents the regional consent or opt-out choices. On iOS, ATT separately controls permission for cross-company tracking. Reopen available advertising privacy controls in Settings or change device permissions.
An optional rewarded ad can unlock a personal Orbit frame after verified completion. Ad rewards are not Coins or Stars. Refusing tracking does not remove eligibility for free activity rewards; ad availability may vary.
4. Payments and provider storage
Apple, Google and RevenueCat process native purchase information. Where web checkout is enabled, RevenueCat and Stripe may use necessary checkout storage for payment security, fraud prevention and completion. Provider privacy notices also apply to information they process.
5. Duration and control
Storage duration depends on its purpose, session state and provider configuration. Local browser entries may remain until cleared. Updated privacy choices may be requested when the policy version changes.
Use browser controls to inspect or clear cookies and site storage. Clearing them can sign you out and reset local preferences; it does not itself delete server-side account records. To request access or deletion, contact privacy@blynk-e.com.
